List-90-departmental-elections-2020

“For me it is an honor that the Socialist Party supports me and I have to live up to it”, remarked Carolina Cosse at the launch of List 90.

The Socialist Party of Montevideo launched List 90 with Carolina Cosse as Mayor. In addition to the candidates for mayor Nicolás Lasa and Patricia Cayón, the president of the Broad Front Javier Miranda, the president of the Montevideo department Carlos Varela, senator Daniel Olesker, deputy Gonzalo Civila (secretary general of the PS), deputy Gabriela Barreiro and representatives of various disciplines gathered at the Casa del Pueblo.

On that occasion, the candidate Carolina Cosse said that this launch comes after many hours of visiting neighborhoods, talking with people and working to understand the feelings of the neighbors.

Cosse stressed that it is very important to thank them for the respect with which they are received during the outreach activities and that as a projection, in the event of an electoral victory, the first task will be to return to the neighborhoods to do all the tasks that they can.

As for the Socialist Party, he pointed out that they are very in tune with the “Montevideo we want” and that they are working with great dedication since the greatest challenge begins after September 27.

When asked about the main axes in his role as Mayor, he pointed out that the Broad Front program would do so with an emphasis on the environment, cleanliness, mobility and work. As a transversal axis that encompasses all of the above, it emphasized the need for innovations in technology and culture, as well as the provision of an open data government for the population in the environment of municipalities and neighborhood organizations.
